About Me

Hi, my name is Carla Ruffer.
I am a Mississippi native, who has lived in upstate New York, Chicago, Memphis, and currently Gainesville, FL.

I plan, organize, and create policies and procedures to implement as part of a team.

I’ve been in event planning for over 19 years.

I received a BA in History with a concentration in 20th Century German History and a German minor from Centre College and an MA in Cultural and Educational Policy Studies with a concentration in International Education from Loyola University Chicago. Additionally, I studied abroad in Strasbourg, France and Rome, Italy. I received the Climatebase Fellowship certificate in 2023.
